Día de Muertos 2023 Event Guide

This year, we’re very excited to announce the details of Dia de Muertos Celebration in Pokemon GO.

Dia de Muertos, a Mexican holiday and similar ones in other countries of Americas, celebrates and remembers friends and relatives who are no longer with us.

According to an Aztec legend, the spirit of our loved one never leaves us, but rather travels to another world. They return each year at a certain time. Since then, those who celebrate Dia de Muertos have prepared for the occasion by setting out the dishes that their loved ones enjoyed, decorating the streets in cempasuchil petals, lighting candles, and preparing the food.

Enjoy the celebration with Cubone, Marowak, and new bonus items, including Incenses, Lure Modules, and cempasuchil Crowns.

During this event, new Pokemon costumes will be revealed!

Cubone Marowak

Cubone can be evolved into Marowak by using 50 Cubone Candies. You may even encounter one that is Shiny!
