Pokemon GO is launching a week of action on October 16.
Paldean Pokemon Smoliv will make their Pokemon GO debut on the 17th of October!
Spooky season officially begins with Part One of the Halloween event. The adorable ghostly canine Greavard makes their debut in-game, while Phantump’s shiny release is released.
Skorupi Incense Day is also coming up, which will bring creepy crawlies and a higher chance to encounter shiny Skorupi.
The Ticket of Treats is a great way to get Timed Research on Thursdays in October.
The race to earn the Master Ball is underway for those who are aiming at mastery. Battle enthusiasts will be able to prepare for GO Battle League Season 16 while raiders are preparing for epic battles with shiny Guzzlord and Darkrai’s return.
Keep your eyes open for the Shiny Shadow Moltres. Trainers are in for a world of adventure, so get ready and go!

Harvest Festival is October 12, 2023, 10:00am – October 17, 2023, 8:00pm (local time). Smoliv, a new Pokemon GO character will debut. Other grass type Pokemon are also expected to spawn.

The first part of Halloween will begin on October 19th, 2023 at 10:00am and run until October 26th, 2023 10:00am local. Greavard’s debut will be made, while Phantump releases their new shiny!
Skorupi Incense Day

Skorupi Incense Day is October 21st, 2023 from 2pm to 5pm (local time). Incense will attract Bugs and Poisons in rotating hourly cycles, while Skorupi has a higher shiny rate.
Ticket of Treats
Trainers will be able purchase a brand-new ‘Ticket Of Treats’ in October. This ticket grants them spooky Timed Research themed Halloween throughout the entire month. The ticket unlocks a Timed Research every Thursday, and you have until October 31 to finish them. Every research includes Premium Items, encounters themed around events, and much more.
Tickets will only be sold until November 29, 2023 at 11:59pm (local time), and they must be claimed and completed by October 31, 20,23, also 11:59pm.
Adventures Abound Special Research
Choose your Paldean partner Pokemon! The Trainers will have access to a new Special Research Story with multiple branching paths! Pokemon GO Adventures Abound allows you to bond and adventure with your partner Pokemon.
This Special Research is free from Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 at 10:00 am to Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at 9:59 am local time.
Timed Investigation: Master Ball
Trainers, start on your path to mastery. Timed Investigations are a series of challenging tasks that can be completed within a certain time frame. This journey will reward you with some of the most rare rewards in Pokemon GO.
Master Ball is available in Pokemon GO Adventures: Abound. Timed Investigation: Master Ball will be available throughout Pokemon GO: Adventures Abound.
It will capture any Pokemon encountered in Pokemon GO, regardless of whether you are in the Wild, using Lure Modules or Daily Adventure Incense, or after a Raid Battle.
- For Trainers who are unable to complete Timed Investigation: Master Ball by November 21, 2023, a Special Research ticket that awards a Master Ball will be available to purchase.
GO Battle League 16
GO Battle League : Adventures Abound begins on September 1, 2023 at 12 p.m. PT.
At the start of Season, the following things will happen:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Spotlight Hour
Pumpkaboo
We will be featuring Pumpkaboo, the Pokemon of spotlight hour on Tuesday 17th October from 6pm to 7pm (local time), along with two times as much Stardust when catching Pokemon.

Shadow Raids
Shadow Raids of one-star, three-star, and five-star will be offered daily. Five-star Shadow Raids are only available on Sundays and Saturdays, except where otherwise stated. Shadow Moltres is also swooping into the five-star Shadow Raids for Adventures Abound!

Research Breakthrough: Season of Adventures Abundant
- From September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to December 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Galarian Farfetch’d, Larvitar, Furfrou, Bagon and Goomy.
