This week, Pokemon GO will see the return of the Psychic Spectacular, Grubbin Community Day, as well as more.
Psychic Spectacular

Solosis
The Psychic Spectacular will return from September 20, 2023 at 10:00am until September 24, 2023 at 8:00pm (local time). Shiny Solosis debuts and Psychic-type pokemon appear in more places, including the 7km egg, in raids and in the wild.
Grubbin Community Day

Grubbin
Grubbin Community Day will be held on September 23, from 2pm until 5pm (local time). Vikavolt can learn Volt Switch with triple XP and brand-new shiny.
Adventures Abound Special Research
Choose your Paldean partner Pokemon! The Trainers will have access to a new Special Research Story with multiple branching paths! Pokemon GO Adventures Abound allows you to bond and adventure with your partner Pokemon.
This Special Research is free from Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 at 10:00 am to Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at 9:59 am local time.
Timed Investigation: Master Ball
Trainers, start on your path to mastery. Timed Investigations are a series of challenging tasks that can be completed within a certain time frame. This journey will reward you with some of the most rare rewards in Pokemon GO.
Master Ball is available in Pokemon GO Adventures: Abound. Timed Investigation: Master Ball will be available throughout Pokemon GO: Adventures Abound.
It will capture any Pokemon encountered in Pokemon GO, regardless of whether you are in the Wild, using Lure Modules or Daily Adventure Incense, or after a Raid Battle.
- For Trainers who are unable to complete Timed Investigation: Master Ball by November 21, 2023, a Special Research ticket that awards a Master Ball will be available to purchase.
GO Battle League 16
GO Battle League : Adventures Abound begins on September 1, 2023 at 12 p.m. PT.
At the start of Season, the following things will happen:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Spotlight Hour
Girafarig
Girafarig will be the Pokemon of choice for Spotlight Hour on Tuesday, September 19, from 6 pm to 7 pm local time. Catching Pokemon earns you 2x your XP.

Genesect Burn Drive will be available in raids with five stars from July 16 through September 23.

If you are lucky, for the first time ever in Pokemon GO you might even come across a Shiny Shadow Zapdos!

These bonuses apply to Adventures Abound Season 12.
Every day, trainers will receive up to 40 gifts.
Trainers are able to carry up to 40 gifts in their bags
Damage increases when raiding with friends
Increased XP when you go up in Friendship Level
Research
Research Breakthrough: Season of Adventures Abundant
- From September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to December 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Galarian Farfetch’d, Larvitar, Furfrou, Bagon and Goomy.
