Start your week with Pokemon GO on September 25th. The Hisuian Growlithe is making its debut as a shiny Pokemon and you can expect to see more Kecleons at PokeStops in the “Out to Play Event”.
Azurill will hatch more often from eggs of 2km on September 30, giving you a chance to catch a shining! Discover the secrets of “Adventures Abound Special Research”. Choose your Paldean companion for an unforgettable bonding experience.
Those aiming to master the game will have to race against the clock in order complete the Timed Investigation, and receive the unrivaled Master Ball. Battle enthusiasts will be able to prepare for GO Battle League Season 16 while raiders can get ready for epic battles with legends such as Entei Suicune and Raikou.
Keep your eyes open for Shiny Shadow Zapdos. Trainers are in for a world of adventure, so get ready and go!

The Out to Play Event will take place from September 27th, 2023 at 10:00am to the 2nd of October, 2023, 8pm local time. Hisuian growlithe will make their debut and Kecleon is more likely to appear at PokeStops.

Azurill Hatch Day is September 30th, 2023 from 2:00pm until 5:00pm (local time). Azurill eggs will hatch at a higher rate from 2km distances, and there is a greater chance that they’ll be shiny.
Adventures Abound Special Research
Choose your Paldean partner Pokemon! The Trainers will have access to a new Special Research Story with multiple branching paths! Pokemon GO Adventures Abound allows you to bond and adventure with your partner Pokemon.
This Special Research is free from Tuesday, Sept. 5, 2023 at 10:00 am to Friday, Dec. 1, 2023 at 9:59 am local time.
Timed Investigation: Master Ball
Trainers, start on your path to mastery. Timed Investigations are a series of challenging tasks that can be completed within a certain time frame. This journey will reward you with some of the most rare rewards in Pokemon GO.
Master Ball is available in Pokemon GO Adventures: Abound. Timed Investigation: Master Ball will be available throughout Pokemon GO: Adventures Abound.
It will capture any Pokemon encountered in Pokemon GO, regardless of whether you are in the Wild, using Lure Modules or Daily Adventure Incense, after a Raid Battle, etc.
- For Trainers who are unable to complete Timed Investigation: Master Ball by November 21, 2023, a Special Research ticket that awards a Master Ball will be available to purchase.
GO Battle League 16
GO Battle League Adventures Abound begins on September 1, 2023 at 12 noon PT.
At the start of Season, the following things will happen:
- End-of-Season rewards will be available on the battle screen.
- Your GO Battle League rank will be reset.
- Rank-up requirements will remain the same as the prior
Season.

Growlithe
Growlithe will be the Pokemon of spotlight hour on Tuesday, September 26th from 6pm to 7pm (local time) along with two times as much Stardust.

Shadow Raids of one-, three-, and five-stars are available every day, while Shadow Raids with five stars will only be offered on Sundays and Saturdays, except where otherwise stated. Shadow Zapdos are also swooping into the five-star Shadow Raids for Adventures Abound!

Season of Adventures – Research Breakthrough
- From September 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. PDT (GMT -7) to December 1, 2023, at 1:00 p.m.
PDT (GMT -7) - Complete Field Research tasks during the whole season to earn an encounter from a pool of Pokémon, including Sableye, Galarian Farfetch’d, Larvitar, Furfrou, Bagon and Goomy.
